HOW TO USE THIS LIST

LINE ONE of each entry contains the name of the emigrant (individual or head of the family), followed by actual or estimated date of emigration, then followed by town of origin and zip code.

GERMAN CHURCH RECORDS.  The name and location of each emigrant is followed by a summary of information taken from the German Church record.  Information includes birth and marriage dates, when available.  Names of children are listed who were living at the time of emigration.

SC RECORDS are summarized from the Colonial record.  This information begins a new line following the German Church record.   In many cases it is possible to compare names and dates found in the German record with the SC immigration record given in the Colonial SC Journal of the Council.  The name of the ship that the immigrant arrived on and names and ages of family members are given where possible.   Acreage of their bounty grant and its location appear last.
